After Hours
On Call Providers
The doctors take emergency calls from their homes after hours.
When our office is closed, all after-hours calls are triaged through a pediatric nurse advice line*. These experienced nurses will assess your child’s symptoms, provide guidance for home care, and help determine whether your child needs urgent evaluation. If needed, the nurse will page the pediatrician on call for further consultation.
This service is intended for
urgent medical concerns that cannot wait until regular office hours.
Routine questions, prescription refills, and administrative requests should be handled during normal business hours to ensure your child’s provider can review their chart and provide appropriate follow-up.
Emergencies
If an emergency should arise, please call 911.
Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening.
*Please Note: PCPeds is charged $20 per call for this service and that fee may be passed along so that we can continue to provide this valuable service. Check out our Raft program to get that fee covered!
