Occupational Therapy (OT)
Occupational therapy services
Our Occupational Therapist (OT) supports children in developing the everyday skills they need to grow, learn, and thrive. In our office, we provide personalized care to help kids build confidence, independence, and healthy routines in the following areas:
Infant Feeding
Feeding should be a positive experience for both babies and caregivers. Our OT helps infants who have difficulty latching, bottle feeding, transitioning to solids, or who show signs of discomfort or stress while feeding. We focus on positioning, oral motor skills, safe swallowing, and helping families feel confident at mealtimes.
Picky Eating & Feeding Challenges
Some children struggle with the taste, texture, smell, or appearance of certain foods. Our OT evaluates whether picky eating is sensory-based, behavioral, or related to oral motor skills. We work gently with children to expand their diet, reduce mealtime stress, and create positive eating routines in partnership with families.
Developmental Delays
If a child is not meeting motor, play, or self-care milestones as expected, our OT provides early intervention to support development. This may include fine motor skills (like grasping and writing), hand-eye coordination, play skills, and independence with daily tasks like dressing or brushing teeth.

Executive Function Skills
Executive functioning includes skills like planning, focusing, organizing, remembering steps, and controlling impulses. Children who struggle in these areas may find it difficult to follow routines, complete tasks, or stay organized. OTs help children develop strategies to improve attention, time management, task completion, and school readiness.
Emotional Regulation
Emotional regulation is the ability to manage big feelings in healthy ways. Our OT helps children recognize their emotions, understand their body’s signals, and learn calming tools. We teach techniques such as breathing strategies, sensory breaks, and coping routines so children can feel more in control and successful at home and school.
Sensory Integration
Some children are extra sensitive to sounds, textures, movement, or lights—while others may crave more input. This can make everyday environments overwhelming or under-stimulating. Through play-based therapy, we help children process sensory information in a more organized way, improving attention, behavior, and comfort in their surroundings.
Our approach is always collaborative. We work closely with parents and caregivers, providing guidance, activities to use at home, and support every step of the way.
