  • Ear Piercing

At Priority Care Pediatrics, ear piercing is offered in our office and performed by our trained nursing staff in a clean, safe, and caring environment. Our goal is to make this simple, elective procedure as comfortable and low-risk as possible for your child.

We recommend scheduling ear piercing about two weeks after your child’s first round of routine childhood immunizations, which is typically around 2½ months of age. Waiting until this time allows your baby’s immune system to develop and their ears to grow enough for accurate, well-placed piercings.

  • Newborn Care

We love welcoming new babies into the world! At Priority Care Pediatrics, we begin your newborn’s care right in the hospital and continue to provide comprehensive, coordinated care as your baby grows.

Our physicians currently round at St. Luke’s North Hospital, North Kansas City Hospital, and Liberty Hospital, allowing us to provide seamless care from birth through every milestone that follows.

Our professional team works closely with families to support every aspect of your child’s health — from those first precious days through every stage of growth.

We typically see newborns in our office within 2–3 days after hospital discharge to ensure your baby is feeding well, gaining weight, and off to a healthy start.

  • Nurse Only Visits

Our Nurse Visits make it easy to take care of quick or routine needs—without scheduling a full doctor’s appointment. During these visits, your child will be seen by one of our experienced pediatric nurses for services such as:

    • Immunizations
    • Ear piercing
    • EKGs
    • Weight checks
    • Other provider-approved nursing services

Some services may require that your child has been seen recently by their provider. If that’s the case, our team will let you know when you schedule your appointment.

Our nursing team works closely with our providers to ensure your child receives safe, friendly, and personalized care—no matter how small the visit may seem.

  • Referral Information

Children may face medical conditions that benefit from the expertise of a pediatric specialist in a specific field. At Priority Care Pediatrics, we emphasize the coordination of care among all healthcare providers involved in your child’s treatment.

Our team works closely with specialists to ensure that every aspect of your child’s medical care — from diagnosis to follow-up — is connected, well-communicated, and centered around your child’s overall well-being.

  • Sports Physicals

Regular physicals are an important part of preventive pediatric care. Scheduling a sports or school physical gives your child’s doctor the opportunity to evaluate their overall health and fitness, review medical history, and ensure they are ready and safe to participate in sports, school, or other activities.

At Priority Care Pediatrics, we take the time to address any concerns, discuss injury prevention, and help your child stay active, healthy, and confident throughout the year.
