Insurance & Billing

We Accept Most Insurance Carriers

Please bring your insurance card to every visit.

If we file a claim with your insurance, you will be responsible for
only your co-pay or any applicable deductible at the time of your appointment.

We require a credit card on file to cover any additional balances that may occur. Payment plans are available upon request.

Replace Me

If we are not in-network with your insurance, if you are uninsured, or if we do not file claims with your insurance company, you will be responsible for the full cost of the visit at the time of service.

We also offer our Penguin Program, where you can pay an annual fee and receive a year's worth of healthcare services at a discounted rate. Contact our Billing Office at 816-412-2908 for any billing questions.

Additional Fees

At Priority Care Pediatrics, we believe in being transparent about the costs of care and the value behind every service we provide. Some services — such as forms and after-hours triage calls — require time, attention, and resources outside of a regular office visit.

Completing forms like school, camp, sports, FMLA, and daycare documents involves reviewing your child’s medical record, verifying accuracy, and sometimes coordinating directly with your provider. Likewise, our after-hours nurse triage line connects families with pediatric-trained nurses who offer medical guidance and help determine if urgent care is needed. Each call results in a charge to our office, which is why a small fee applies when this service is used.

Common fees include:

  • FMLA Forms: $30 each
  • Camp Forms: $30 each
  • Sports Forms: $30 each
  • Daycare Forms: $30 each
  • Spot Vision Screening: $20 each
  • After-Hours Triage Calls: $20 each

These modest fees help cover the time and cost of providing high-quality, thorough, and accessible care — even beyond regular office hours. To make things easier, families can also join our Penguin Raft Program, which helps bundle and reduce these costs into one low annual fee.
