Penguin Program: Putting Patients First

Our Penguin Program allows you to pay an annual fee and receive a year's worth of healthcare services at a discounted rate.


You can opt-into the program if you are:


  • Uninsured
  • Self-Pay
  • A patient who has coverage through a health care sharing company

Penguin Program Fees and Benefits:


  • Nestling (age 0-13 months):  $975
  • Includes:
  • Lactation visit or Hospital follow-up (3 day visit)
  • 6 Well Baby Exams (including CDC recommended vaccines)
  • 2 Sick Visits
  • 2 Applications of Fluoride Varnish
  • Infant Flu Vaccine Series
  • Recommended Screenings
  • Maternal Depression
  • Lead and Hemoglobin
  • Spot Vision (if indicated)
  • All other inclusions and discounts of the program
  • Chick (age 14-35 months):  $475
  • Includes:
  • 2 Well Baby Exams (including CDC recommended vaccines)
  • 2 Sick Visits
  • 2 Applications of Fluoride Varnish
  • Recommended Screenings
  • Developmental Screening
  • Lead and Hemoglobin (if indicated)
  • Spot Vision (if indicated)
  • Annual Flu Vaccine
  • All other inclusions and discounts of the program
  • Penguin (age 3-17 years):  $375
  • Includes:
  • Annual Well Child/Teen Exam (including CDC recommended vaccines)
  • 2 Sick Visits
  • 1 Application of Fluoride Varnish (age-dependent)
  • Recommended Screenings (age-dependent)
  • Depression Screening
  • Lead and Hemoglobin (if indicated)
  • Hearing and Vision (if indicated)
  • Annual Flu Vaccine
  • All other inclusions and discounts of the program


All Memberships Include:


  • Annual Penguin Raft Fee: includes 24/7 access to a telephone advice nurse, all non-diagnostic forms, electronic prescribing and patient portal access
  • Access to Quest lab discount program
  • Additional 10% discount off self-pay rate for most services not included in the package including additional sick visits, procedures, in-office labs, mental health services (including additional screening), asthma care, ADHD care, etc
  • 10% discount on most items in our QuickStop (in-office store)
  • $35 flat fee for Telehealth visits (approximately $90 savings per visit).  Excludes mental health visits.
  • Physician referred nurse visit charges waived (approximately $35 savings per visit)
  • $15 evening and weekend convenience charges waived


Excluded From Memberships:


  • No additional discount on hospital charges
  • Visits that exceed standard visit times by more than 50% will be charged at the standard self pay rate
  • No discount on statement fees, late fees, default payment plan fees and bounced check fees
  • Vaccines not available under the Vaccines for Children Program are NOT included in this program
  • Pharmacy costs are NOT included in this program
  • Labs that are not provided by Quest
  • Services provided at a facility not operated by Priority Care Pediatrics
  • Durable medical equipment (Solaris, Bregg, etc)


Additional Details:



  • Members must sign a membership agreement
  • Patients may opt-in to the program 30 days from the time of the first service is rendered (60 days for Nestlings).  Any self-pay payments made 30 days prior to opting into the program, for services covered by the program, will be credited towards the annual membership fee.
  • Program memberships are effective the first of the month in which fees are paid and are 13 month memberships; included visits must be used within the time of the active membership ("use it or lose it")
  • Annual membership fees are nonrefundable; partial refunds for unused visits will not be issued
  • Program fees are due in full at the time the Membership Agreement is signed.  Ask about payment options for Nestlings.
  • Recommended screenings are included, as indicated, for each package but additional testing and screening for abnormal results are additional services and will be billed to the patient's guarantor.
  • The guarantor's account must be in good standing to be eligible for enrollment.
  • Additional services will be billed to the patient's guarantor.
  • Failure on the part of the guarantor to keep the patient's account in good standing may result in termination of care and forfeiture of membership fees.
