Advanced Appointments

Advanced appointments can be scheduled up to 12 months in advance and are ideal for well-child visits, medication checks, chronic disease management, and follow-up care. Scheduling early ensures you’ll have the best choice of times and providers that fit your family’s schedule.

Same-Day Sick Visits

When your child isn’t feeling well, we’re here to help. We offer same-day sick appointments, filled on a first-come, first-served basis each morning. Our phones open at 7:30 a.m., so call early to reserve a spot and get your child the care they need as soon as possible.  The phone number is 816-412-2900.

Walk-In Clinic – Parkville Location

For even more convenience, we also offer a walk-in clinic at our Parkville office, open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. No appointment is needed during this time — simply come in for minor illnesses or urgent concerns.

Using the Patient Portal

Our secure patient portal makes managing your child’s care even easier. You can request appointments, send messages, view test results, and request prescription refills — all in one convenient place. We encourage all families to sign up and use the portal to stay connected with their child’s care team.

Coming Soon: Online Scheduling!

We’re excited to announce that online appointment scheduling will soon be available! This new feature will let you book certain appointment types directly through our website or patient portal, anytime — day or night. Stay tuned for updates as we make scheduling your child’s care even more convenient.

  • What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that life happens and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so that we can offer the time to another family.

Please note that any appointment cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in a fee.

Missed appointments may result in a missed appointment fee, and repeated no-shows could affect your ability to schedule future visits.

  • When should I arrive for the appointment?

Established patients who have completed pre-registration should arrive 10 minutes prior to their appointment.  New patients or those who have not completed pre-registration will need to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to allow time for check-in.

If you arrive late, we may need to reschedule your visit to stay on time for all patients.

  • What do I need to bring to the appointment?

You should be sure to bring:

    • Current insurance card
    • Driver's License
    • Payment method for any copays or other charges
  • Who can bring my child to the appointment?

Any legal parent or guardian may bring their child in for an appointment. If there are other adults—such as grandparents, relatives, or family friends—who may need to bring your child, they must first be listed as an approved contact in our system. To add someone, please ask our staff for an Alternative Care Form.

For your child’s safety and privacy, if an individual is not listed on this form, we are not legally permitted to see your child at that visit.

Teens age 16 and older may attend their appointments on their own, but please note that doing so gives them the ability to make medical decisions during that visit.
